player stays black, if codec is not supported by browser

e.g. https://media.ccc.de/v/gpn14_-5853-de-medientheater-201406221300-spaceautomatisierung-_schinken stays black on chromeium on linux. We should show an error message here instead of showing a black player

clicking on the link to the file btw plays nice in the browser...

I think this is the same issue as #240.

There is an error message, but it is not visible because it's black. If you select all text from the page, you will see that there is text inside the video player.
