just wanted to say that this is an awesome work ! Maybe you could make it into a tutorial, or create some other like it. It helped me with my project since the C++ part is not really advertised for Godot and couldn't find tutorials for C++/Godot.

This project was more a proof-of-concept than anything. There might be improvements to be made upon it.

Also, Godot 3.0 will feature DLScript which makes it much easier to write game code in C++.
