Unable to access after upgrade from 3.0 to 4.0

Describe the bug

After upgrading our template of Photon from 3.0 to 4.0 the virtual machine gets stucked on the message: SMBus Host Controller not enabled

Reproduction steps

We have and old Photon 3.0 template, we are upgrading using photon-upgrade.sh --upgrade-os. After the reboot the virtual machine gets stucked on the message: SMBus Host Controller not enabled

Expected behavior

Reboot after update and be able to enter to Photon 4.0

Additional context

Original OS: VMware Photon OS 3.0 PHOTON_BUILD_NUMBER=11dd065

Upgraded OS: VMware Photon OS 4.0 PHOTON_BUILD_NUMBER=2f5aad892

We tried the same than issue 1226 but we are not able to access again.

could you pls share the version of photon-upgrade rpm used to perform this? If you have logs for the same, kindly share them as well.
