But, I'm NOT a VMware employee
As mentioned, the tools team does not see the personal information/details provided when signing the CLA. So, I can offer no suggestion of what triggered the rejection. I have asked legal for a better explanation of the rejection. I will forward that explanation when I get it (probably next week).
Thanks. At this point it's easier to just make the same change I did and close my PR
