Dot in a tag name breaks tags page

Example: https://tanzu.vmware.com/developer/tags/.net/

Tags page is non-navigatable but is crawlable so Google index gets an error on this page.

This works fine in Hugo but because it creates a directory that starts with a . Netlify does not deploy as it is a hidden directory.
