Stream for biographical articles and dictionary articles?

Open billinghurst opened this issue 8 years ago • 2 comments

I have a lot of biographical works that need to be created so they can be linked through to main articles using "described by"

Would it be possible to have a stream that allows for the creation of biographical/dictionary entries?

Sorts of fields that I regularly like to have would be

  • P31
  • P1433 (with qualifiers P478, P304)
  • P921
  • P50

I would think that there are other qualifiers, however, that are my predominant use.

Noting that these articles are Wikisource transcriptions, so another capability that woudl be really useful is the addition of a badge (radio buttons for "not proofread"/"proofread"/"validated"/"problematic") would be fantastic. While the interface allows multiple choices, a work really can only be one of the four. This capability would also be great in "edition"

Thanks for your consideration.

Well, technically "Article" shall be used for most of dictionary entries, but need to check qualifiers and properties

Badge... standard wikidata badge, linked to wikisource page?

Re instance, I am just saying what I see, and there was a discussion ages ago on WD (cannot remember where) and they decided to use the more specific.

Yes, the badge against the interwiki, example (green validated) at https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q18575972
