On macos with 4.3.3 binary release from https://github.com/vlabella/GLE all figures are so faded out as to be almost invisible. The figs look fine in the pdf file exported from qgle so maybe a qgle rendering issue? qgle-faded-out-figs-on-macos

To test color rendering of qt5 on mac, I ran https://github.com/scottellis/qcolorcheck which displays colors just fine (in box with 6 colors at upper-right of screenshot). And on linux qgle displays same maungazoom.gle file just fine. I will do some more tests and update this issue if I learn more, but wanted to report it in case anyone has any fixes/suggestions. I may try to compile from source, as I am using the pre-compiled 4.3.3 in gle-4.3.3-Darwin.zip in https://github.com/vlabella/GLE/releases and I have same faded figs if I try earlier gle-4.3.2-Darwin.zip as well.
