How to define dropdown menu in menu.shortcuts section?

I would like to define a menu shortcuts for versions management. When click version in dropdown list, the doc will redirect to specific version documentation, see the screenshot as an example. I tried with "parent" and "identifier" attribute under "menu.shortcuts" section but it didn't work. Can you provide any examples for this?
