How to make tunnel reconnect whenever local internet goes down?

I programmed my router to restart every day during the night to keep it working properly, but when I do that the tunnel ends up falling and doesn't come back.

This got me thinking about the scenario where the internet does indeed go down, and will probably have the same issue.
