Remove unused Map Layers

Is it possible to remove unused Map Layers or permit the use of the Base Layer Box on the right to permit the usage of some Layer? We are only using the Openstreetmap Layer. maybe point me to the file where to change this to compile it again.

Map layers are created here. You can simply add required layers from the MapType enum.
