Hi there!

Is there an easy way to make ChromeCast compatible with the latest protobuf version? Unfortunately I need that for Google Cloud services...

Hi

I don't think there is an easy way to do that without breaking of backwards compatibility. This may be possible if my project becomes modular with the possibility to choose which version of protobuf or discovery library to use.

Also, I am not 100% sure that the latest protobuf version will work smoothly with the Chromecast device.
