Using pTVReg for 2-photon Ca imaging datasets

Hi I have stacks of .tif dendritic images captured at some n levels (depths) of brain tissue on live animal. Can i use pTVReg for registering these images ? As i understand, each image in the stack represents the dendrites at a certain depth of the brain. Kindly advise.
