Inconsistent horizontal axis values in Column-Line Chart type

Open mwannier30 opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

Describe the bug

When attempting to create a Column-Line graph, the x-axis (time component) displays incorrect data. This issue does not occur with other types of graphs using the same x-axis (time component), suggesting that the data itself is not the problem. Also, when you hover the mouse over the graph, something (tooltip?) appears to the left but outside the frame and is therefore cut off.

To Reproduce

  1. Go to project and start a new visualization.
  2. Select 'Column-Line' as chart type
  3. Set 'Woche' as the horizontal axis value.
  4. Observe the x-axis data.
  5. Try creating another type of chart with 'Woche' as the x-axis.
  6. Compare the x-axis values in both graphs.

Expected behavior The x-axis should display the same data across different types of graphs

Hello @mwannier30 unfortunately the link you provided no longer seems to be a valid cube, could you provide the name of the dataset so that I can tackle this issue as quickly as possible? - thanks in advance

@noahonyejese Oh yes sorry! I had to unlist it on PROD for other reasons. You can have a look at it in INT : https://int.visualize.admin.ch/en/browse?dataSource=Int&dataset=https%3A%2F%2Fhealth.ld.admin.ch%2Ffsvo%2Fmoderhinke_entwicklung%2F1

The bug is the same there. Let me know if it still doesn't work :)

Looks to be fixed on INT (v5.8.1) :)
