My Visualizations on PROD

Question via email from Claudio on 29.07.2024

  1. Is the feature “my visualizations” already finished, or is it beta alpha?
  2. Would it be possible for you to answer Jean-Martin's question?
  3. Would it be possible in principle to change the data owner of visualizations?

Input from Jean-Martin Hello Claudio,

Great! I was able to put the card graphic into production.

However, the visualization does not appear on my visualize account as a published graph. This may have something to do with the fact that I'm not the author. How is the “visualize owner” defined in the system? Is it possible for me to add all the SFOE's visualizations to my account (as a reminder, I can't search by office on the cube)?

I don't know if this concerns BAFU or BAR, but if so, please direct me to the right person.

Best regards. Jean-Martin

@adintegra could you support here? My initial feedback is below but probably needs to be fleshed out and refined.

initial answers / assumptions:

  1. The feature "my visualizations" is not yet finished, and not yet on the productive environment. At the moment, when the user clicks "sign in" on prod, they are redirected to the REF environment as eIAM is not yet on prod. The integration of eIAM on PROD has a dependency to BIT and their release planning, the next possible opportunity to get this feature to PROD would be on INSERT TENTATIVE DATE, assuming there is no additional feedback from the team from testing.
  2. The reason the published graph is not showing up, is due to the fact that eIAM is not yet on PROD. Was the chart created on visualize.admin.ch (PROD) or int.visualize.admin.ch (INT)? If it was created on INT, the chart should appear in "my visualizations" if it was created on PROD, that would not be the case.
  3. NEED TECHNICAL INPUT
