Does LiteIDE not provide a Windows version?
X38.4
I want to know too. I haven't used Go for a long time. I downloaded the stable Go 1.24 on my new computer, but the Windows compiled version only has x38.3, which can't debug – x38.3 only supports up to Go 1.21. Alright then, I'll download the x38.4 version to compile. The new computer already has Go 1.24 installed, and Git 2.50.0.2 64-bit is installed too.
The official latest macOS version of QT uses 5.15.16. I tried downloading QT5, but turns out that starting from Qt 5.15, the open-source version – whether LTS or not – no longer provides pre-compiled standalone installers. You can only install it online... and you need to register for an annoying QT account. Otherwise, you have to download various community-compiled versions from third-party sources.
Congratulations! You just wanted to simply write some Go programs with LiteIDE, but ended up in the terrifying QT hell. After hours of tinkering, I don’t even want to use this thing anymore.
I registered a nauseating QT account, only to find that the official site has discontinued downloads for QT5.x. Now you're forced to download QT6.x? utterly disgusting. The QT5.15.2 version I found online downloads at a snail's pace; it's been hours and still isn't finished.
Gave up and switched to an older solution: Copied dlv, gocode, and gotools from the GOPATH/bin directory of go1.24, then pasted them into the liteide/bin directory of x38.3. Now I can debug go1.24 programs with F5. Just making do for now—can't be bothered to tinker further.
I found out through scoop. Only 38.3 for Windows.
i build success by qt5.15.2 at X38.4, you still need it?
