Give the Arduino the ability to reset the BT module. This could be done by an output pin driving a transistor to turn ON/OFF VCC. This could be useful sometimes when the iPhone messes up the sound quality.

Instead of voltage dropping LEDs, you could just use a voltage divider with two resistors.
