Is it possible to place one item above the timeline and another item below the timeline？

It may be basic for you, but not for everybody. Unfortunately I could not find something similar in the example page. Can you point me to a code example? In addition, from your example, I cannot see what the Y-axis looks like. What I expect is to see numbers (unit of a measurement) like this example in 2D Graph.
