Plans for a stable version release of 1.0

wanted to check a couple of things Any plans for releasing a stable 1.0 version? want to update the go version as the one here is old.

finch is built on top of nerdctl and nerdctl depends on this package for network namespacing. so wanted to check if we can move to a stable version.
