[pydeck] Update jupyter-widget to work with JupyterLab 3

For #6989

Change List

  • Make changes for JupyterLab 3 as suggested by ipywidgets
  • Bump the linked version of deck.gl (in frontend_semver.py) to 8.8.0-alpha.6 (see #7025)

Notes

  • base is master
  • Replaces #7011

Coverage remained the same at 81.761% when pulling 6a8109e01bd78014f83f1a88b7746993079a2839 on dakoop:pydeck-support-jupyterlab3 into 655015d8e318006c37e2762f91c0d54b3356f710 on visgl:master.

Hi @ajduberstein we are preparing the next pydeck release using deck.gl 8.8. I think we can merge this one and include it in the next release too. Could I go ahead, solve the conflicts and merge? Thanks.
