[Spring Salad] - Standalone image on Mac appears to be broken ; issue with cert?

(This is not a VCell problem directly, however we want to track it in this project as we migrate spring salad development to VCell; spring salad currently resides in cam-center)

Spring salad has a two layer problem, which may or may not be related. Spring Salad v2.3.4 works if you bypass Mac's built-in "unidentified application", but v2.4.1 has the additional problem of having a "damaged" image; we're assuming it has a bad certificate, and by fixing it, all problems will be resolved.
