Cannot change input method on Linux

For whatever reason I cannot change my input method for Vircadia on Linux. It either changes the input method for Discord or Vivaldi (whichever was the last open app), or it doesn't do anything. The log doesn't say anything. While it changes the input method of different programs, it doesn't show the change. This indicates that it does realize Vircadia is selected.

I am using FCITX with either Mozc (Japanese) or Hangul input method.

This issue makes it impossible to type Japanese for example.

We should test if this also happens on Wayland.
