Cannot highlight Links in Chat App
Links, as identified by the Chat app, cannot be highlighted with a mouse like other message text. This means it cannot be copied to clipboard, but it's also a problem from a consistency standpoint.
Ahh, I see. I actually did try that but the menu lags a bit for me. Maybe something weird happened. It does work now, although a lot of these menu options don't make much sense. I might open another issue about that if it's ok.
You can of course. Just know that is it the kind of problem that we won't get to any time soon. Also the current chat app has a lot more fundamental problems, like changing it to be able to read it in VR and hopefully also redesign it so it doesn't impact VR users that don't want their immersion broken by constant chat messages on the screen. I mean personally I don't even want a chat other than for sharing links. I much rather have people use their microphones or write with pens (or maybe somehow spawn text when you are desktop mode).
Ok. I agree that the app could use an overhaul but I will submit this as an issue anyway since it is currently an issue and might get overlooked. It's probably good to know where the issues are in general so you can decide what to prioritise working on when you have time.
