Interface freezes for a few seconds when opening the log

This has been observed on Windows 10 64-bit.

Just tested on Linux, opens without a delay. 2400 messages.

How many do you have? Is it consistent?

Right now I have 7 messages so it opened instantly, but when I have a decent bit more it freezes. This never used to happen though. Also I observed multiple other people have this issue which is why I opened an issue. I'm not sure why that started happening.

Will report back if it happens again.

Asked at dev meeting, some people report it being instant, some say there's a 1-2 second delay. Weird.

Some people report that clicking away from the window and opening the log again introduces a delay.
