Thanks for the troubleshooting @shubhangr. It looks like there was an issue applying the `search.elasticsearch.queryOptions` config which is used to tweak the fuzziness. I've opened #29875.

Actually you don't need this PR to be merged in order to use this feature in your Backstage. It should work out of the box without this change.
