What is this Python project?

Easy way to send emails, upload files to Sharepoint etc. I used it for a SharePoint task.

What's the difference between this Python project and similar ones?

• office365-rest-python-client is a similar project with greater control and customization and high configurability. And selling point of python-o365 is that it's easy to get onto, thus lesser learning curve.
• office-365 is more mature. But both repo are being actively maintained.
