update (2024-09-28)
The future of bauh is currently uncertain due to my lack of free time to properly maintain it. Its maintenance is challenging because it relies on several backends that were not designed to integrate well with other applications (such as GUIs like bauh). Most of these backends are designed for CLI interactions, and unexpected output variations from backend updates can break bauh's features. The AppImage and Web Apps backends are currently the least problematic because most of their interfaces are self-made or frozen. I am pausing Ko-fi's monthly donations until the future of this project is decided.
Well, that's sad.
I'm curious which backends are the most problematic.
Maybe it's an idea to split up "the support" in main application (bauh) and plugins for the backends. And delegate the maintenance of those plugins to other developers?
This is pretty sad to hear, and I would offer to help if I knew Python better. I really hope you'll be able to come back to it a little.
I'm also curious which backends are the most problematic.
