No longer working on Gnome 3.34 with custom gresource

Hello, thanks so much for maintaining this theme, it's been my go-to for several years :)

I have always customized my GDM login/lock screen using the method outlined on the ArchWiki. Although a little out-dated, I've modified the scripts and has worked great for several versions of Gnome up until the latest release.

The only issue I am having is that when launch the activities overview, and start searching for an app absolutely no icons appear. It works just fine, but I can't see anything.

Icons appear if I click on the "Show Applications" icon on the doc, windows appear on the overview, but never icons when searching. Might you have any idea as to why?
