qt6: sddm & WallpaperFader.qml (in /components) abandoned?

you updated the sddm themes to plasma 6. Thank you for that!

question: is there a reason why the wallpaper-fading-effect (WallpaperFader.qml, formerly in the 'components'-folder) seems to be abandoned now? you had no time to implement it again or adapt it to qt6? there are some code-parts pointing to it, but they dont seem to be used currently? is there a specific reason for the current state, f.e. a library currently not usable with qt6?
