Odd window button placement on Thunderbird using CSD

Hello, when I use CSD on Thunderbird, the window buttons seem to be horizontally too close to the window border. This does not happen when using the system's window decoration.

Compare with Firefox which shows better placement, I think.

Note I am not using Kvantum, could this cause this visual discrepancy?
