Did you installed kvantum?
Thanks @vinceliuice what is kvantum? is an application style? I have tried to looking for on the settings panel > application style but I don't find nothing:
install kvantum-qt5
Ok, I have installed kvantum-qt5 on Arch and I have follow this: https://github.com/tsujan/Kvantum/blob/master/Kvantum/INSTALL.md#in-kde
but this is my window:
Maybe I'm missing something
open kvantum-manager to change the theme!
Ok, Have I to use this? https://store.kde.org/s/KDE%20Store/p/1499836
Just download from github and run ./install.sh
then it'll show in your kvantum-manager
Now it's a bit better but with the edges still something is wrong
Xft.dpi: 96
Xft.antialias: true
Xft.hinting: true
Xft.autohint: false
Xft.hintstyle: hintslight
Xft.lcdfilter: lcddefault
Xft.rgba: rgb
Make a new file named: .Xresources
in your user root folder and copy the code into it
I created the file with the settings you suggested but I fear that for my resolution (2 x 4k monitors) it is not correct. Now everything has become very small and the window is still not as it should
Did you changed your aurorae border setting? set it to no border!
And change the scale to 200%
OK, if I scale a 200% borders disappears. However desktop gets too big. The right scaling should be 150% but with 150% borders come back
BTW I have same borders problem also with other theme
@vinceliuice the problem seems to be the 4k resolution. I have scaled KDE to 200% With "Force font DPI: 96" there are no borders but the font is very small If I set "Force font DPI: 192" (as the default of 200% scaling) the text has the right size but there are borders
