Decrease the size of the title bar buttons (close, minimize and maximize buttons)

Hello,

Please, is there any way to reduce the size of the close, minimize and maximize buttons in the title bar of GTK3 apps windows?

I've been google it and have tried a few css codes I found... Tried some changes in ~/.themes/Colloid-Dark/gtk-3.0/gtk-dark.css file but nothing has changed...

I also tried changing the size of the .svg images in ~/.themes/Colloid-Dark/metacity-1/assets folder but nothing changed (most likely I searched the wrong place)...

My focus is trying to change this in the GTK3 theme I'm using: Colloid-Dark (for Legacy Applications in Gnome Tweaks)

Systems I'm using:

EndeavourOS Gnome 43.2 X11

Manjaro Gnome 43.2 X11

Those buttons minimize size is 16px, and metacity-1 theme is for cinnamon desktop
