Pause in the text

Is it any possibility to insert a pause of some length into the speech? Can I use any special command or parameter? I am using the plugin in an application for captioning. The app gets 2 lines and I want to insert a fixed pause between the output of the two lines.

Or insert a pause on other places of the text too.

Two-character codes can be used too, but for English, "en" will use "en-US"
