Way to display topo info from local OSM map that contains it ?

I use OpenAndroMaps on my phone for offline hiking maps. When opened in Oruxmaps, the maps are displayed with topo lines. https://www.openandromaps.org/en/downloads

I want to use the same maps in Viking because the downloads from OpenTopoMaps often time out and are not available. And I like the quality of these maps.

To use them in Viking, I downloaded the zip file for my area and uncompressed them into their own folder. (Not .cache/viking) The directory then contains area.osm.db, area.osm.map and area.osm.poi files.

I can open these files by creating a new map layer and then using Map Type OpenStreetMap (Mapnik) and Cache Layout (OSM). Everything works. However, when I view the map, I do not see the topo lines and nor can I find a feature to display them.

The same thing happens if I open the map with Map Type set to OpenTopoMap.

How do I display topo info on these maps, like Oruxmaps does ?

Thanks !
