I think that it is not the intended behavior to overwrite `cursorline` highlighting with virtualtext, so I'd categorize this as a bug, but not 100% sure.
Tbh, I think this is a bit overkill. There'll always be cases where we can't highlight an identifier properly, and we don't want to run a full-blown semantic analysis everytime...
