Components not displaying

Hi there, Happy new year! Hope you are doing well!!

I have found a new issue in Package.xml generator from last 1-2 months. Please take a look

Issue: If I click on CustomField, nothing shows up in the right column and when clicking update package.xml or copy to clipboard, existing customfield was removed from package.xml

Similar issue happens on some other Metadata Types like AssignmentRules, AutoResponse, CustomField etc

Please have this bug fixed asap

I have same problem, also List view is not diplayed

I am not seeing any Metadata Types at all - meaning I can't use the extension :-( Really frustrating as I'm trying to work with reports and you have to name each explicitly in the package.xml file

@anilcad18 @Beelzebubdevelop @cejhoney - I am unable to recreate the issue. Could you please send me the error logs? Also try reauthenticating with the org once and update to the latest version of SFDX CLI & the extension.

Please try the following,

  1. Update to the latest version of Salesforce generator extension.
  2. Check whether the package.xml is present inside the manifest folder.
  3. Reauthenticate your org with your sfdx project

If still the issue persists, please send me the extension logs & developer tools log.

Steps for Extension logs: Help -> Toggle Developer Tools View -> Command Palette -> Developer : Open Logs Folder

Steps for Developer tools log: View -> Command Palette -> Developer : Open Webview Developer Tools
