Focus event never fires again after opening and closing twitter and facebook share popup

I'm having the same problem with v1.7.3.

I use the focus event on all my windows to bind data to the views when the windows are opened. If I open the activity view on one window, I loose the focus event on the current window and ALL other windows within the tab group navigation controller.

Any workarounds or solutions for this?
