Youtube Iframe takes up entire screen

When i load a youtube video url into the player, I notice the iframe embed takes up the entire screen. Not really a huge problem, but I think because of that the "click to pause" function of the youtube video interferes with the <Gestures/> separately added. Also, only a part of the youtube poster appears within the given space (and blurred). Any ideas on what could be done to resolve this?
