Is this plugin broken with new YouTube flags?

In light of the removed showinfo and now useless rel flags, does this plugin still have something to offer?

I.e. the YouTube controls (and title, subscribe, share, etc) are now required to be shown, you can no longer use your own.

2020... same question. Seems like there's no longer a way to "cheat" and use free youtube and make it look like an unbranded custom player.
