Description
Due to a recent bug #392 it may be possible that using middleware to handle seeks does not make sense. We should investigate if switching away from middleware and back to events works as we expect.
Perhaps relevant to this: the shimming of seeked events so that we can take control of buffering behaviour post-seek. See #370.
