Is this plugin still maintained?

Simple question really, I've seen no update since 2016 and so I'm worried any changes to jQuery etc that cause issues will never be fixed.

I have not use this plugin for a long time.

If you want a fix or a new feature, consider submitting PRs

It was just about the best option I could find, unless you know of something better?

So why would you not maintain it?
