Plain TCP or UDP proxy

Open atinm opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Does pingora support plain tcp or udp proxy without http/https? There are protocols I would love to be able to proxy through pingap that are not http, like SMB over TCP that don't use 80/8080/443 ports that I could use pingap to proxy (and do security on the content) if the data path went through pingap. I guess I should just check pingora, but since I'd still need support in pingap, I thought I'd ask you to keep alternate connectors and listeners besides http/1.1, http/2, http/3 in mind.

Thanks, -Atin

I don't know much about L4 proxies, and I won't be supporting it in the short term.
