This is the Spawn verb and the advanced build mode subtype selector, btw. Just make it like 50% or 100% wider so we can actually see the names of the subtypes. So many fucking subtypes are too long for this window. It has got to be a decade old by now. Please make it wider. Don't add a scrollbar, just make it bigger.

What if we made our own verb so we could work on it here and then that verb's result is passed along to the old verb?

This is how I do it when I have to, but it's so much damn slower.

You'd think it would be easy, but it isn't You cannot resize the window created by input(), as far as I can tell. You'd have to create either a browser menu or a custom skin element. Both are totally doable, but nontrivial.

Thanks for removing that label, then That's unfortunate. I hope someone has the impetus to fix it, but I'm no longer as exasperated.

I think what we really need is quicker access to the quickspawn menu

That would be nice, but if the verb contains the word "Spawn", then autocomplete in the bottom bar will be scuffed for both verbs
