ghost, suicide verbs broken

Description of issue

Recently it seems that I can't successfully suicide or ghost out of my body. Typing "ghost" or "suicide" I get the safety check window and then upon pressing OK, nothing happens. Typing "ghost" or "suicide" again, the confirmation window won't pop up unless I exit the game and rejoin. Happens as a human as well as as a borer. I am using WINE so there's a possibility it's a WINE-related bug.

Difference between expected and actual behavior

Expected: type "ghost" or "suicide" to become an hero Actual: remain living

Steps to reproduce

type "ghost" or "suicide" while playing as a living mob

Length of time in which bug has been known to occur

The past few weeks at least.

It cannot possibly be related to Wine, or any other detail of your client.

The only way the confirm window wouldn't show up is if you were forced to suicide, in which case you'd die anyway. Maybe BYOND is eating the input or something stupid like that? What version are you using?
