Feature Request: Download Button
Steps to reproduce the bug
İt's clear so I'm not writing anything down here. It will be more efficient if there was a download button though. I have a lot of songs to save and it'll take hours and stuff you know?

Additional information
This request was ignored in the past multiple times. They say there's caching, but that requires you to listen to whole track for it to be cached & many of the cached tracks won't play later (it somehow gets removed from cache after a few weeks or month) but still appears in the list. I'D SUGGEST DOWNLOAD IS A MUCH BETTER WAY FOR LISTENING OFFLINE. I like ViMusic very much for everything else, but since I can't download tracks I switched to Innertune the UI isn't the best, can't be compared to ViMusic's (simple & very beautiful).
Sorry, but this is a design choice... I definitely understand your point, but the app is not intended to be used like a YouTube Music downloader.
This means that :
- Stop requesting this feature
- If you absolutely need a download option, stop using ViMusic
- If you just want songs to be catched automatically, take a look at ViMusic's forks, like ViTune
- And please close this issue
Thank you!
Hey Vfsfitvnm,
It seems there might have been a misunderstanding. The request wasn't to include a YT to mp3 downloader in ViMusic. Instead, it was to add a download button to cache music within the app, allowing users to manually cache entire tracks or albums for offline playback without needing to listen to each track individually to cache them. I appreciate your efforts, and I hope this clarifies the request. Thank you.

Hi! (And I'm not Vfsfitvnm 😁) That's clearer thanks! Unfortunately this app is not actively developed, you should take a look at ViTune (mentioned in my first message) that has implemented this feature for songs (not yet for whole albums).
Thanks, I'll check it out! 😊

RiMusic (an actively developed fork of ViMusic) has this feature and many many more!
But the interface is somewhat... different. I personally like the simplicity of ViMusic, and in comparison I find RiMusic heavily cluttered visually speaking, and quite far from the opinionated design of ViMusic. But this opinion is what it is: just an opinion. I highly encourage you to try RiMusic out too @Melvinfused
I've used RiMusic & got ViTune yesterday, ViTune is better for me since I was looking for ViMusic UI. I think this issue is solved that way, but I wasn't the one who raised this issue.
