plex will not autoconnect to xteve tuner when i close dizque and reopen it

i have linked dique in xteve then added the xteve tuner dvr to plex, but when i close the disque serevr and reopen the disque server, i lose all of my xteve channels because the dvr tuner will not automatically reconnect. but only the disque channel show up in the live tv dvr guide. I have to delete the xteve tuner dvr and manually re-add the xteve tuner dvr back for all my xteve channels and my disquetv channels to show up again.

however, if i dont use disque at all and only use xteve, i can close the xteve server and plex wil auto reconnect once i start the xteve server. this tells me the problem is not xteve or plex but rather the problem is with disquetv.

does anyone know what i can do to fix this? or can someone please fix this in an update?

UPDATE: the exact instant this issue occurs is every time the XMLTV.xml is updated in disqueTV. i lose the entire xteve guide except for my disque channels in plex and have to manually add the xteve tuner back to see all my channels again.

i figured out the problem. if i run dizquetv first then xteve second, plex will not reconnect to the tuner. the order must be xteve first, then dizquetv second.

I only add the DizqueTV XMLTV to Xteve, not the channels playlist using subchannels like 12.1, 12.2 etc.

In PLEX I add the Xteve tunner first and the Xteve combined XMLTV to PLEX.

Then I add DizqueTV as the next tuner to PLEX. Since the Xteve XMLTV guide has the DizqueTV guide, you get a direct connection without having a possible double FFMPEG transcode or a third if Plex is transcoding.

I have my DisqueTV FFMPEG settings tuned to my server and Direct play DizqueTV streams in PLEX.

@enduser001 if i use your settings by addng 2 tuners in plex with dizquetv and xteve, does that mean i will have 2 guides in plex? or does plex merge the 2 tuners into one guide now?

@merrychrishna plex only supports one xmltv guide. that's why using xteve to combine the guides is preferred.
