enhancement req: time slots

I was playing around with a channel I have setup and wanted to try time slots.

I see that it seems that once you choose to go down the time slot route, you are locked in to setting up all 24 hours in a day and need to specify what goes where and when.

What I would love to see if possible...

Start with a standard channel with normal shuffling...

• add a slot from 7am and duration of 1 hour, play A program
• add a slot from 8am and duration of 1 hour, play B program
• 9am (ish) resume normal programming shuffle play
• add a slot from 6pm and duration of 1 hour, play X program
• add a slot from 7pm and duration of 1 hour, play Y program
• add a slot from 8pm and duration of 1 hour, play Z program
• 9pm (ish) resume normal programming shuffle play

So essentially, just override some times a day so at certain times, I can say hey, its 'Sesame Street' time or, later, its 'Everybody Loves Raymond' time, and everything inbetween is just random... bad channel example, but I hope you see what I would like to see if possible.
