Thanks for the kind beer offers :) I do enjoy a good pint every now and then, but I'm not collecting donations yet. I will probably do a small crowdfunding campaign closer to the release of Jolla tablet to add proper Jolla tablet support for Tweetian, and help then will be appreciated.

As for this issue, I'll probably taking a look next week. This week I'm vacationing at Rome.

Heh, yeah more time would be great, I don't want to spent all of it in front of computer.

I did investigate animated GIF support and it is more complex issue than I originally thought. Twitter actually converts them to mp4 videos and the public twitter API only contains link to preview image of the video. There is no API to use for getting either the original GIF or the video so implementing this is not possible with current Twitter API.

Wine support I have not yet investigated.
