Casnnot close output panes

I have all tehse panes from previous runs and I cannot close them, even if I click on the close button. (When they are expanded, the close button just minimizes them, and then I can do nothing with them anymore.) grafik

For what it is worth I've spend a couple nights debugging this and have figured it out. It ended up being something really odd and annoying. I will open a PR soon.
