Neovim middle mouse button double paste in hyper

• OS version and name: Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS (Linux kernel 6.0.6)
• Hyper.app version: 3.3.0

• The issue is reproducible in vanilla Hyper.app: yes

Issue

I have a fresh install of Hyper and when I try to paste using the middle mouse button in Neovim, it instead pastes twice. This does not happen in non-neovim hyper, gnome-terminal (that comes with Pop!_OS) or when using Ctrl+Shift+V in neovim hyper.
