Issue

When I start a new session of Hyper I receive this error notification: Screen Shot 2022-05-03 at 11 11 30 AM

I have node installed with Homebrew: Screen Shot 2022-05-03 at 11 12 07 AM

So I'm not really sure why this is popping up. It doesn't seem to cause any issues. I couldn't find a related issue that helped with node specifically. But if this is a duplicate, I'm sorry.

hello, when I put a theme/plugin in my hyper I have the same problem, but once removed it stops appearing, it doesn't solve the problem but if it's bothering you I recommend you remove it

to complement, if you are also not able to install new themes in it, I managed to do this just now by entering the folder and typing npm add . in the terminal itself, after that the themes will be added in the hyper or any plugins you want, but I I couldn't find what causes the message so far I'm on the constant search.

for linux users, when I entered the root user it could not find node, so this message, just installing it also in root I was able to easily solve the problem.

but for mac users, I'm not an expert on the subject but researching I saw that there is something like root too. try to enter the root user and then type node -v, if it complains that node is not installed install it.

Hey everyone, I fixed this by reinstalling Hyper.

Manas-Nagelia avatar May 29 '23 23:05 Manas-Nagelia

I've reinstalled and deleted all the hyper plugins .hyper.js folders etc.

uninstall and reinstall, no matter when I reinstall I always have the same problem, the problem comes from the fact that the plugins or themes are supposedly installed but I never see them in my .hyper.js file. file or in any of the other folders and dependencies, and I'd like to be able to reset everything and reinstall it all as a blank application, but I've never managed to do so despite my best efforts. Please help me if you have any ideas.
